FOUNDATION "TRANSPLANTATION - THE GIFT OF LIVE"

My name is Andrzej Papacz, i am 14 years after heart transplantation. This took place on 19 September 1996 year. Together with Elżbieta Orczyk, which has agreed to collect her husband's organs to save lives of other patients, we organize a meeting under the slogan: "Transplantation - the gift of live", bearing witness to young people and our society, that a transplantation is the second great force, and how to address the conscious organ donation.
As part of this action we organize meetings with secondary school students, high school students and local communities, during which there is a tongible proof of the effectiveness of treatment by transplantation. While medical practise in the field of transplantation is now conducted on a large scale, but recently encountered a number of difficulties and problems. Apart from the purely medical, mostly those which are rooted in social consciousness and mentality. It seems that awareness and problems now require the greatest effort to change the desired state of affairs.
